Intense ruby red color. The aroma is characterized by notes of jam, wild berries, and black cherry, wrapped in a light spiciness. On the palate, it is enveloping and full- bodied, with good freshness and smooth tannins. This wine is made from Merlot grapes harvested from the approximately 70-year-old vineyard in Scriò.
It pairs excellently with any red meat dish, especially roasts or braised meats. It also goes well with game and pairs beautifully with a simple charcuterie board or a selection of aged cheeses.
